Technically and structurally good to use, visually – far from perfection
We call it the “Depot of Errors”. In any factory, non-conforming parts are also produced. Due to faulty handling, technical problems, or external factors, some products that pass the technical test are also visually non-conforming.
Small breaks
These are the most common problems with panels and posts. Due to poor handling, panels can hit each other or other objects. The corners are the most sensitive. If the chipping exceeds the acceptable limit, the panels become scrap.
Bad stripping
Sometimes, the release agent was not “applied” correctly to the fence mold and when removing the formwork, pieces of the fence pattern can come off and the panel no longer meets the visual standard, becoming a black sheep among the other correct panels.
Color Inconsistency
Not all aggregate grades are identical, a deviation of up to 7% is tolerable, but sometimes this limit is exceeded and the panels become non-conforming due to the varied appearance.
Geometry
The formwork of the molds can undergo deformations over time and this leads to the appearance of a slight curvature of the panels. We call them bulging panels and we take care to eliminate them from the final order that goes to the customer. We rush them to the “Depot of Errors”
Cement Stains
Dry-stored panels can accidentally be sprayed with concrete slurry that cannot be removed, leaving permanent marks on the surface of the panels. We do not rectify this by painting, as this would only be a short-term solution and would damage the trust between Konkret Line and its customers.
Stock Heads
To ensure that all panels in an order will be compliant, Konkret Line produces extra panels. If no mechanical accident occurs during loading into the TIR or during drying, they remain in the factory and start taking up unnecessary space.
Limited Series
Konkret Line produces new fence models every year, trying to bring modern fences to the market, at modern standards. Not all of our attempts are successful (it is easier for our competition to directly steal models that customers appreciate). For us, each new model comes with up to 10 unsuccessful attempts, during which we perfect the mold before presenting it as final in the Showroom. All these fence panels accumulate in the Warehouse and represent unfruitful work.
No time to lose
No reservations can be made for existing stock. First come, first served. Panels can be selected and visually inspected. Depending on the available storage space, the stock may fluctuate suddenly, and precast parts not sold in a timely manner will be sent to be crushed. By shopping at the “Depot of Mistakes”, you will contribute to reducing waste, a positive factor for both your health and the planet!
These fence components deserve a second chance at life. The panels are technically good (concrete quality, reinforcement, utility) but have many visual defects.
